bunchofgrapes: (Brass - lip curl)
Okay, so today when I was doing very important stuff at work and *ahem* watching Bang Bang on my iPod (hey, I can multitask--except of course when Brass appears), After the episode ended, I got the iPod version of the blue screen of death. It wouldn't shut off, it wouldn't turn on. It just sat there, mocking me--and interrupting the very important work.

Stupid thing finally shut off a couple of hours later and did charge up when I got home--after being a snit at first--and now it seems to be back to normal. Has anyone else ever had this happen before?

On a happier note, I managed to catch Knights of Prosperity tonight. It's now on my list of shows to watch. I mean, come on, Donal Logue, the star, has a prized spork. And he even mentioned it in the episode!

I have so many freakin' CD's! Jeebus, everytime I look, I take out another handful to load on my iPod. Suddenly, 15,000 songs isn't looking like a lot. The best part is that I'm finding some of the coolest stuff from the late 80's/early 90's. Shona Laing (give you a shiny quarter if you know her). The Split Enz-okay, they might be early 80's and yes, that's a blast from my MTV past. Don't laugh. I am old. Alison Moyet, Toni Childs, the list goes on....

I'm really bummed though. I was hoping I could put Paul's music video on it but the format isn't compatible. Crapity, crap, crap. Still, I have the PODCAST of his radio interview and a couple of voice clips from some commercials he did. Now, I'll have Paul Guilfoyle's sexy voice wherever I go.

Dang, they just did a thing about CSI on the local news. They were talking to the "real" Catherine Willows and Gil Grissom. Um, the real Grissom? Not pretty. I'm being kind. Really.
