The Gospel According to Jim
Apr. 9th, 2009 11:15 pmNow this one I liked!
I liked the way this started, through the camera. Kinda cool yet makes me never, ever want to sky dive. Not that I was planning on it.
Ray gets to ride in Brass' bitchin' wheels. And we see the return of the loosened tie!
Brass and George - hilarious! Every single scene with them is priceless. PG is so on his game in this episode. He and Ally McBeal dude play off each other perfectly. After CSI, I would love to see PG do comedy.
"The Power of Steven may have commanded him" - a little post episode shout-out to Friedkin and The Exorcist?
A hockey stick mention - PG's shout-out to hockey (GO CAPS!)
Brass in shades with the loose tie FTW! That's a killer look for him. So is being outdoors at that house. Oh, and wouldn't Jim have been exposed to that chemical as well? He was at the scene and obviously around the bodies before Greg and Catherine arrived.
Brass at the hospital was the second best scene. First he speaks a little French. Then he runs into the equipment and says "ouch" (had to watch this about three or four times because of how hilarious it was--thinking it wasn't scripted). Brass is so freaking cute when he's standing at the end of the bed, playing with the wires. When he leans on the frame, ZOMG! so adorable!
And then this was the point where I heard "cat in a paper sack" noise followed by panicked cat running frantically through the house, pursued by the paper sack. I can barely type this without laughing yet again. I managed to rescue Tucker from the grasp of the evil paper sack and now for some reason, he's all pissed at me. Probably because I spent a good five minutes doubled over, laughing hysterically.
All in all I really loved this episode. It was what I'd hoped the 200th had been like in terms of team involvement. And I love Brass getting to do all the detective work. This is how it should be!

Date: 2009-04-10 04:22 am (UTC)I really liked this episode and I agree with you that Brass was very hot through out the entire show.
Poor Tucker. Paper bags are evil in this household also. My Kelly goes running anytime one is shaken.

Oh, he also drove "normal" again last night. I miss the days of him driving like Bobby Bad Ass.
And have you read the comments yet over at YTDAW on the episode? I have to quote this one:
"And can I just say this, Jim Brass.... you're starting to look mighty sexy to me now that Grissom's out of the picture..... of course, when Grissom returns for a visit, you'll have to step aside."
It's funny when people write these things. Because I could have sworn that most of that board said they were going to be done with CSI after Billy P. left. Guess not. But the problem I have is they only see Jim B. not Paul G. That's my little rant.
