It's snowing!

I am so happy right now that words almost fail me. It's snowing! And these are some of the biggest snowflakes I have ever seen in my life. I mean ginormous! I love how quiet it is when it snows and how beautiful and calm everything appears. Snow can make ugly look pretty.

Oh, and what's the best thing to accompany a snow storm, you ask? KFC's hot wings. Seriously. I actually got into my car and went out in this just because I had to have them. And yes, the snow is beyond beautiful but it's also slicker than snot. I have tickets to the Caps game tonight but I will happily watch the game from the toasty comfort of my home rather than risk life and car. I could stare out the window all day--now that I'm back home of course.

I love the muffled sound of everything in the snow. We're going to Tahoe next month and I can't wait, it's been forever since I've held snow.

*Hangs head in shame* PG would shun me. Then again, he'd probably do that anyway. Oh, and thanks to PG, I can't hear the word "hooking" without hearing him sing it. I'm really bummed about not going to the game. I had executive club seats. Unfortunately, I live in suburbia and we've got our own ice rink outside now.

Oooh, Tahoe! Never been there but always wanted to go. When you live out West, you can go to so many awesome places. We can go to West Virginia. Yay.

Only because he'd be scared after looking at all of our posts about him.

Tahoe is pretty beautiful, but you live on the east coast, something I've been aspiring to for about ten years now. When I heard one of his radio interviews about filming "Howard the Duck" (I think that was the film) out here and he lived in Sausalito for nine months and skiied Tahoe all that time, all I could think about was I could've skiied or shared a ski lift with him and not even known it. Of course I would have been around 14 or 15 at the time, but still.

Yeah, especially the ones where we talk about touching his hair. I expect he carries a restraining order around with him just in case.

Ok, I do have to admit that I enjoy living on the East Coast. However, after visiting Portland, that could change. Still, I like that I can hop on a plane and be in Italy 7 hours later. And one of these days I might finally do the Fall foliage tour through New England or make it up to Martha's Vineyard.
