"Vincent"

Anyone ever heard of or seen a British show called "Vincent"? It's about an ex-cop turned private eye and from the write up on IMDB, the main character, Vincent Gallagher, sounds a lot like Jim Brass ("macho, flawed, and extremely vulnerable man, who seems to live in the shadows of his past"). It's funny because just yesterday I got this catalog in the mail and saw the blurb for the DVD's. I was thinking that the guy who plays Vincent, Ray Winstone, has sort of a Paul Guilfoyle look about him, which is why it caught my attention. Well, that and the catalog write up compared the show to Monk and CSI.

I just added the show to my Netflix queue but if anyone has seen the show, I'd be curious to know what you think of it.

Y'know, speaking of DVDs. I hear they're releasing the first season in HD-DVD format. I'd give anything to watch it like that. I'm not so sure about the mini. But yes, that has to be one of the best television mini-series' evah.

I'd heard that they filmed the entire series in HD so I'm wondering if the miniseries might also be in HD. If that's the case, then I'll probably wait until I get an HD DVD player.

They were originally forecasting a bit of non-Gabrielle related rain tomorrow but it looks like they've taken that out of the forecast. Apparently, the rain gods hate us.

Yeah, they did. Sleuth channel keeps promoting the series on the Universal HD channel. And OMG, I just googled it and The Equalizer is on their schedule too. Interesting.

Gabrielle pretty much bounced off of the NC coastline. Not good. I take it back about the no more rain thing. We had a sudden Gulf fueled t-storm blow through here.
