Woman walks into a Petco to return stuff. Kitten adoption in progress. I don't think I have to tell you how this ends.

He's a 15 week old long-haired black and light gray with white under his chin tabby and he's a mouthy little guy. Abso-freakin'-lutely adorable and in need of a name.

So, my f'list, I am taking suggestions for boy names. I already have Harry (after Admiral Harriman Nelson) and my last boy was Basil (after Basil Rathbone). His name right now is Benjamin but I'm partial to two syllable names. Don't ask me why.

Oh, and I don't pick him up until tomorrow, which is good because I need to kitten-proof the house.

His character's name was Taddeo and that's on my list. My best friend mentioned Simon, which was one of my "next cat" names, and another friend suggested JB for Jim Brass. So far, those are all in the running.

Oh, and the kitten's brother is named Paulie, after Paulie Walnuts on the Sopranos but when the woman said that I immediately thought of Paulie Guilfoyle. I wonder if he ever got/gets called that?

I don't have a lot of experience with boy names, even for cats. Beyond the PG stuff, there's Bogart...erm, that's all I've got I'm afraid.
