Feb. 6th, 2007 11:44 pm1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better. If I already know you well, expect the questions may be a little more intimate.
3. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
Here are the questions
crusherbevdr asked me:
1) I don't want to know your exact age, but are you a twentysomething, thirtysomething or fortysomething? or am I way off base? Definitely fortysomething but not over the halfway point yet.
2) What was the first thing you saw PG that caused you to fall so in "lust" with him? CSI. It was "No Humans Involved" and his voice made me look. I love his voice. And his hair. All of it.
3) What do you do for a living? I work for a very large US gov't contractor as a Business Manager. It's sort of a numbers job on steroids. I hate math, btw.
4) Do you travel? If so, where have you been? Yup, as much as possible. I spent a summer working in Germany when I was in college. I've been to London and in the past 6 years, I've been to Italy four times. I love Italy. I've also been to Hawaii several times and back in 2003, I hit California something like fives times. This year I'd like to go to either Madrid or Rome or both. And I'm hoping to get to Seattle in early March to see PG play hockey.
5) What's your favorite pasttime?Writing, traveling, and watching hockey and pro football.

1. What was the last novel you read? Did you like it?Um, I'm embarrassed to say, I don't read much. I'm going to say either one of the CSI books or "The Nanny Diaries".
2. Majorly jumping party or quiet evening with a few friends?Quiet evening with a few friends. I'm an introvert.
3. When making a critical decision can you clearly discern which message your heart is sending and which message your head is sending? Which are you most likely to follow? The logical decision will always prevail. That comes from my head. My heart has burned me too many times.
4. Would you rather guest star on Grey's Anatomy, The O.C. or Scrubs? Grey's. I want to be one of those guest stars that makes viewers like me cry. I'm such a sap.
5. What was the last lie you told? I told my mother a truly made up reason for leaving Oklahoma when in fact it mostly had to do with her.

Date: 2007-02-08 02:13 am (UTC)It also sounds like we have a lot of favorite pasttimes in common. I don't watch hockey a lot, but I do enjoy it when I do. I'd love to go see the San Jose Sharks play in the tank. All the other things we both love.
I envy you. Hawaii is the only place west of the Mississippi that I haven't been. Get that under my belt and I'll have them all covered.
Okay, interview me.

Date: 2007-02-08 05:24 am (UTC)1) If they found a lost episode of Voyage, what 3 things would you hope it contained? It's a must that it have hurt Harry in it and I mean a good hurt, not a clunk on the head. I would like it to be a good action story with Harry and crew fighting Dr. Gamma, and Harry finally getting him. Harry wins the cute girl in the end and she helps nurse him back to health.
2) If you could spend an afternoon with Richard Basehart, where would you go and what would you do? Since RB loved to swim, how about a day at the beach, in a secluded area. Picnic, swimming and what ever else that might happen.
3) If you could kill off one Voyage character from any season, who would it be and why? Lee Crane would be a goner. I didn't like him right from the start. Voyage needed a Captain, yes, but Crane never struck me as the Captain that they wanted him to be. In my eyes, he was a wimp.
4) What one thing do you hope to accomplish in your lifetime? I hope that I'm doing it right now. I hope that I have had some type of influence on the young girls that have passed through my basketball program, that will help guide them into becoming successful young women. Of course, I would like to win the U.P. golf title, too.
5) Your basketball team just won state and now you're going to Nationals. You can only take 10 players but there are 16 on the team and they all had a hand in getting the team to Nationals. How do you choose who gets to go?
Alright, this one is hard!!! There are lots of different variables to this and any way that I do it is going to leave 6 girls disappointed and 6 sets of parents ready to kill me. As a coach, you know who your best players are, however, the parents, relatives, community see it in a different way. I think I would have to give this a lot of thought, but for right now, I would probably sit down with my Athletic Director, Administration and the players and come up with the best way to select the top 10. Also, we would figure out some way that all 16 players still went on the trip to Nationals, (I'm thinking it would be in Hawaii)and would recieve all awards the same as the 10 players, even if our school had to pay for it. Oh, and if my team made it to Nationals, then we would have won it, too. Plus, RB would be there cheering and then we would go to the secluded beach for our picnic and whatever.

And I knew you'd kill off Lee. So would I!
