Sweet Brass

Yeah, I'm biased. I admit it. Even with what amounts to a drive by appearance, Brass managed to steal the show. And Keppler? The man has ginormous pores! I mean you could sail boats through those things. Maybe that's an HD thing?
Brass had all the good lines, including "We're very competitive" when Keppler says something about the crime rate in Vegas being on the rise.
Brass and Keppler have a bond: both are Jersey boys. Brass says he's from Newark. Hey, canon! I love how he could recognize Keppler's accent, even though he guessed Philly. Close enough.
Oh, yeah, and we learn Brass doesn't care for the pizza in Vegas.
Brass didn't look too happy when he was going into that interview. Maybe it was having to be called back into the episode after being missing for most of it. Or maybe it was because CSI's are interviewing people WITHOUT A FREAKIN' DETECTIVE present! That's really starting to piss me off. It's also a telltale sign that Brass won't be around in the episode much.
I have to defend Sofia in the morgue. She's promised the parents they would be very respectful of their daughter and then Doc was whistling. Yeah, I know it's his thing but it even annoyed me. Actually, it's not the first time Doc has annoyed me this season. Maybe they are actually giving Doc a personality.

Date: 2007-01-19 05:00 am (UTC)I was disappointed that there was so little Brass. I thought he was going to have more of a role in this episode. I don't know if I like this season or not, yet. Brass adds so much to the series and everyone waits for his comments and it's like he hardly ever on anymore. I'm not a huge Warrick fan but his role has been nil, this year. Doc seems to be getting a larger role and I'm sorry, but I do not care for Hodges.
On top of that, it's very cold and we are getting snow!

Date: 2007-01-20 06:13 pm (UTC)I've noticed this too. It seems like they're going out of their way to give him more of a role. Personally, I've never cared one way or another about the guy (I actually like Super Dave more) but I hate when characters are viewed as "perfect". Give them some flaws, let them be bitchy sometimes.

Yeah, me either. If they want to kill someone off this season, let it be him. Hmm, maybe that's why they didn't put him in the main credits.

Date: 2007-01-20 01:01 am (UTC)The contuinity in this show continues to blow my mind. They continue to do crap like having the CSI do the interrogation. Continue to be hit or miss on a)whether they move something without photographing it or b)touch something without gloves on.
So in that regard, their continuity is freakin' spectacular.
Shall we talk continuity regarding Brass recovery???
Oh, I finally had some time to read that sockpuppet thread over on YTDAW......Yeeeeeesh.

Date: 2007-01-20 06:07 pm (UTC)This just makes me want to stab people.
I've started noticing a pattern. Whenever the CSI's do their own field interviews or interrogations without Brass present (or Sofia), Brass generally doesn't show up again in the episode. I was surprised he made an appearance at the interrogation but did he actually do anything?

So that's Liev, who everyone's talking about. There's an immediate reaction of "I know who that is. . ." like I know his face, I just never remember his name. LOLZ@ his ginormous pores. . .haha!
