It's still raining Ernesto here and I'm loving every minute of it! I might actually have to mow my grass. Last time I mowed it--mainly just to pick up the dead leaves--it kicked up this massive dust storm. This rain is great too because it's not that warm, tropical rain that usually comes with leftover tropical depression/hurricane. This is more like Fall rain.

Why is it that watching Sex and the City gives me all kinds of writing ideas? And they always have to do with Nekkid Brass.

Did anyone see the CSI promo on Innertube? It starts off with Brass's voiceover saying "This is like old times: you, me, a party...a dead body". What I want to know is, who's he talking to? Annie? Catherine? Sofia (yeah, yeah, I know the fan hate towards her but I like her and Brass together)? Nah, it's probably just Grissom.

Ever complete a particularly draining fic and then find that all your writing motivation has completely left you? Well, that's me. I haven't even opened up Word in a week. And this sucks because today is the perfect day for writing.

Oh, and belated birthday wishes to my friend benvenuti as well as Richard Basehart. Okay, so he passed away back in 1984 and doesn't really celebrate a birthday any more but he was one of my first huge crushes. Yes, I was 8 and he was like, 40-something when I first crushed on him but I've always had a thing for older guys. Anyway, I always remember RB's birthday on August 31st.

I soooo wish it would rain here, but there's not a chance of that until at least mid-Oct., which totally blows.

At least you got a fic finished before your muse packed up and left. Mine is still smoking a cigarette somewhere. However, you will be pleased that another page has been added to your story.

Nekkid Brass...yum. Just yum. I wonder if the producers of CSI have any idea there are a bunch of nutty fangirls out here drooling over screen shots of him in a tank top getting inked. I so wish his chest hair were thicker higher up.

Yay, another page! I think today is the first day I've actually thought about writing. Watching the CSI marathon on Spike helps.

I, too, wish his chest hair were thicker higher up but that cap of him in the chair is just...orgasmic as it is. Oh, and it occurred to me that even though he got shot near the armpit, he's going to have one helluva scar on his chest, where they had to do the surgery to repair the damage. I love a man with scars.

And seriously, I've been having some wicked dreams about the man lately. I think my brain is looking for an outlet since I haven't been writing.
