I swear there's a reason for this

First of all, my Brass/Catherine fic Blame it on the Margaritas has been posted over on Geekfiction. I can't believe I actually got it done. I'm usually not a fast writer. In my other fandom it would take me 6 months to a year to complete a story. Oh, well. I'm not complaining.

We've had T-storms on and off today with the threat of more. I'm happy. So far it's actually been sort of quiet but I expect that will change once the sun goes down.

I did my family duty and called Grandma today. It's her 84th birthday. When I was a kid, I always thought it was so cool that her birthday was on the 4th because she got watermelon and homemade ice cream and an awesome fireworks display. I sent her flowers yesterday then called today to make sure she got them. She's doing really well but dang, she does talk a lot.

It's just windy here, and a bit cold, but I'm not complaining. And I can suddenly see you in my friend's page, too. Woot!
Totally dug your story. Brass waking up in Catherine's bed. There's just something so *good* about that.
And what is it with all the GSR fics in the ficathon? Again, I'm not really complaining, but how about a little nick or warrick or anyone else.

I noticed the lack of other character fics as well. Seems this GSR as canon thing has caused everyone to concentrate on only Grissom and Sara. At least you, me and inamberclad were able to think outside the GSR box.

And seriously, I loved your fic. Brass/Ellie just makes me all verklempt. Don't even get me started on the love I have for the whole "Brass just back to work after nearly dying" thing too. I was really hoping we'd see more of those fics over the summer.

Sweet. I love Brass/Sofia. I just saw "I Like to Watch" the other week, so it's really fresh in the old memory. Any wants/don't wants for your story?

Glad to hear you love Brass/Sofia too. I know so many people don't like her but she's never bothered me. Of course I'm not real fond when she hogs an episode away from Brass but after that scene in "I Like to Watch", all was forgiven. I hope next season they at least let her work more with Brass. They look good together, even if it's just as partners.

As for wants/don't wants, I'm not particular but I will say that my favorite part of "Some Little Forgiveness" was Brass out of breath and then knowing that he still wasn't quite 100%. It's that subtle hurt that just gets me.

I loved your story and I love margaritas on the rocks. We got a little bit and I mean little bit of rain this week, but we are so dry I keep expecting to see Brass and the rest of CSI to show up thinking that they are in Nevada.

You still have 5 months left to finish a story in your other fandom to reach your yearly quota. LOL.
