It's Thanksgiving so of course I have a list

I am thankful for happy and healthy kitties and their willingness to snuggle up with me.

I am thankful for the Dallas Cowboys playing every Thanksgiving for as long as I can remember and the wonderful memories I have of watching the game with my grandpa.

I am thankful for all the amazing and wonderful friends I've made thanks to fandom.

I am thankful for organ donors.

I am thankful for my family and all the people who touched my life as I was growing up, especially my granny.

I am thankful for my health. While I do have my own challenge, there are so many other health problems I could be having.

I am thankful for the Washington Capitals. They gave me a renewed enthusiasm for a sport I loved as a kid and win or lose, man, I just love this team!

As much as I complain, I am thankful for having a very good job with a stable company, a great boss and some pretty awesome co-workers.

I am thankful for the opportunities life has given me. I've been to places I never thought I'd see. I've met people I never thought I'd meet. And I'm not done yet.

I am thankful for the challenges life has given me. Some have kicked my butt but I survived and they really have made me stronger.

I am thankful for the roof over my head and the ability to manage my finances (thanks mom)

I am thankful for a sense of humor and the ability to laugh at myself

I am thankful for my very awesome next door neighbor who looks out for me (and me for her)

I am extremely thankful for my best friend. I don't have to say any more about this because she just knows, right sister-figure?

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Your list reminded that I have so many friends that I would never have if it weren't for fanfic and fandom and GSR. What a wonderful (and small) world it is, and for that I am thankful too.
