Let the blogging begin!

In February of 2010 unwrittenkitten mentioned something about NaBloPoMo and although it wasn't November, I decided to give it a shot. I had so much fun with it that when November rolled around, I wanted to do it again. And now it's November and I'm ready to give it a shot again. Not sure how long these posts will be - I'm sure it will depend on how long my work day goes - but I need to get writing again and what better way to start.

So, here it goes. And unwrittenkitten, since you got me into this mess, I'm looking at a post or two from you! Who else is with me?



Now don't get me wrong. I love my Cowboys even though they are stinking up Texas right now. But as I was watching them get slaughtered by the Eagles Sunday night, I realized how much more I love hockey. When my football team is down by three scores, they are pretty much out of it. When my hockey team is down by three scores, they can very easily come back (unless of course those three scores come in the final minutes of the game). Heck, I've seen the Caps come back from five down and win. With hockey the game isn't over until that final buzzer sounds. Football, like the Cowboys Sunday night, can be done after the first period. So yeah, in my world hockey > football. But I still love my Cowboys.

Exactly! I wrote this up when the Caps were down 3 nothing but I knew they weren't out of it. Wasn't sure they'd pull out the win but I knew they'd tie it up. They've done it before.
