Since this season seems to be all about estranged fathers and daughters, can they please bring back Ellie? It's like they've extracted bits and pieces of what we've seen with Brass and Ellie to create conflicted relationships between Cafferty and his daughter and Ecklie and Morgan. Why don't they just go back to the original?

Not a whole lot of Brass but this was a quality over quantity episode.
We get Brass at the crime scene with Nick.
We get Brass haulin' ass in his bitchin' Charger and telling the CSI's to keep their distance
We get Brass sans jacket, sporting the Kevlar, in a shootout with the bad guys. Flashbacks to ABRTI, anyone?
We get Brass going in first with his gun drawn. Did I mention how much I loved seeing him without the jacket? And I really liked that gray suit. Didn't like the bitchin' Charger getting all shot up. Or maybe the bullets magically missed it.

Can I just say that for a person who was very critical of his hair the last two seasons, I'm really digging it now. It's long enough that it's dark again and I love the silver on the sides.

Oh, and best line? Morgan: "I'm not a cop". Thank you.

Ditto the vest sans jacket and gun drawn scene. Hair is def improved and he wears the color well :-)
