What is up with these writers?

bunchofgrapesOkay so Grey's Anatomy is my second favorite show behind CSI (unless Brass dies and then it will be my new fave) and on tonight's episode, which is part of their season finale countdown one of my favorite characters gets shot.
Um, first it's Brass and now Burke? Jesus Effing Christ! I can't take this. I love Burke. I love Brass more but still. And what's worse, I had no idea Burke was going to be shot so it was quite a shock. And then to see that same look on his face as Brass had on his--so not good. I'm confident Burke won't die. I mean, I hope he won't die. I guess the good news is that I'll know tomorrow night what happens instead of having to wait until Thursday. And here I was thinking how I wished Grey's Anatomy would crossover with CSI just so Burke could operate on Brass.
Oh, and don't even get me started on Izzy and Denny. I couldn't even watch and yet, I was screaming at her not to do it. I swear between Grey's Anatomy and Brass on CSI, I could be dead by Friday. Seriously.
