I’m very behind on things yet again. Anyone else need an extra day added to the weekend?

Last night I went to dinner at Carrabas with a couple of friends. My one friend, George, is remodeling his kitchen and is very stressed about it. Well, after two glasses of wine, other things he’s stressing about came out as well, I’m sure much to the chagrin of the people sitting behind us. Namely, his sexual identity. My other friend and I and just about anyone else who meets George think George is gay. Apparently, George hasn’t reconciled that fact within himself yet and it’s causing him some issues. I have another friend, Fred, who went through this crisis about 10 years ago. He finally came out and once he did, his stress level dropped and he was so much calmer about life in general. I hope George figures things out because right now, he's not very fun to be around. And he really does deserve to be happy.

A rare Caps game on a Sunday afternoon. They finally got the fantabulous Olaf Kolzig back in the net and suddenly, they’ve come alive again. Okay, so it’s probably a little late but still…

Bought a very cool, very small Sharp Actius MP30 laptop to take on vacations so I can do some writing. This thing weighs 2.8lbs and does everything my Dell does--only smaller. I wanted to test out the screen and the DVD player so I watched "Down the Drain". Man, I've never seen a picture so clear. It's almost as good as HD. Hell, I could see every one of Brass's freckles! I didn't realize he's got so many freckles on his forehead and face. Dang cute! I also bought a pair of Phillips noise cancellation headphones so I listened with that. Can I just say that Paul Guilfoyle's voice is orgasmic? Well, it is. Lordy!

I've been reading this most excellent Brass/Catherine story called "Courtship" over on CSI Forensics and it's gotten me in the mood for two things:

1) do some Brass/Catherine writing. I have a one-shot that I think could make a sort of sequel to "Splinters". A couple of people have asked so why not?

2) do some Brass/Catherine smut. Smutty, smut, smut. Wicked smut. I was a total chickenshit and didn't sign up for the Geekfiction SmutAThon.

Brass/Catherine really needs to be made canon. They have chemistry, people! I do love Brass/Annie but I do believe Brass/Catherine have become my OTP. I didn't start out a B/C shipper but damn, it just feels right. Don't know if I could see them all married and calling each other Schmoopy though.

Like everyone else, I'm having YTDAW withdrawals. I'm also having "And Then There Was One" withdrawals. Thank goodness for "Courtship". Check it out here: Courtship
