I share your not thrilledness with CSI this season regarding Brass and Catherine's friendship. It's mostly just pissed me off, as my blog entries will confirm. However, I may still write the pairing. Most of my Brass/Catherine fics are AU anyway and I still love their rapport in the earlier seasons, before aliens sucked out the writer's brains, so I can deal with what's going on currently. That is, when I get back to that pairing. Right now I'm having too much fun with Brass/Annie.
As for where you can go, might I toss something out there? It occurred to me during a conversation with spottedhorse that Brass and some of Tony Soprano's crew might have crossed paths more than once. Just sayin'...
