I think I'm really stretching for something to post now.

The winds were howling last night from the snowless Nor'easter. It was so bad that when I looked out the window, I fully expected to see a house go spinning by. And this morning I was surprised to see no trees down--just a lot of tree limbs. Most of those were already broken from snowmageddon. Whenever there are high winds, it seems like everyone at work is complaining about not being able to sleep--myself included. But last night it wasn't so much the howling winds as it was having to sleep like I was in a cocoon. I was surrounded by kitties and couldn't move. Usually Tucker sleeps in his kitty bed and not on the bed. Maybe he was spooked by the winds too. If this continues, I'm gonna need a bigger bed.

And speaking of Typhoid Tucker, he has infected the other two. Harry has the worst of it. Poor guy has slimy eyes but he's such a sweet kitty, he lets me wipe the goo away. Tucker on the other hand had one really yicky day and now he seems to be fine. That's because all his cooties are now inhabiting Weezy and Oozy.

Got totally caught up watching The Moody Blues at Royal Albert Hall on MPT. It wasn't that I was reminded how much I love their music; I've always known that. I was just surprised I knew almost all of the songs before they started and I still know the words. This concert was from 2000 and Ray Thomas, always my favorite was looking a little stiff. He had to leave the band a couple of years later for health reasons. But he still had great hair. MPT was giving away tickets (with a $150 donation) to see The Moody Blues at DAR Constitution Hall. I was very tempted but I got to see them back in the 80's and they were great. Without Ray Thomas, they won't be nearly as good.

It's going to be USA v Canada on Sunday and I can't wait! I really hope the US shows up though. Having a blow out game like the one against Finland doesn't do much towards getting the team ready for Canada. Wow, the last 10 minutes of the Slovakia v Canada game were great. Too bad Slovakia couldn't tie it up. I would have loved to have seen cocky Canada get knocked out. Oh, and the great thing about these last two Canada games? Crosby has no points and no assists. I hope Slovakia wins the bronz. They played tough throughout the Olympics.
