Yeah, I work for an IT company so I know just enough to make me dangerous. When I first realized I had a problem, I tried it in IE and then I tried it on a completely different laptop. Neither works but the different laptop at least told me it was a network problem. My techie friend told me all the same stuff (she's a couple of states away) so I knew I was on the right path. This morning though she had me ping the site (no response) and then do a tracert which shows exactly where the drop is. Now it's in her hands though because I have no idea what to do to fix it.
