They killed the consistency part back in "For Warrick" when Brass says he's been in Vegas 20 years. That completely hoses up the backstory they gave him in "Hollywood Brass". And if I could access the Brass Forum, I'd give you the how and why.
I completely forgot to mention the overcoat! I'd written it down but left it out of my post. He did look smokin' in that. I had to rewind and watch it again.
