Getting some profit and revenue $$$ recognized for the end of the year. This really took some work but it got done and it made me very happy.
Had dinner at Wolfgang Puck's The Source with three very good co-worker friends and as always, had a great time. John is going to be heading to a different part of the company next year so this was our last time together as part of the same operating unit. But the four of us have such a great time and we love trying out all the excellent DC restaurants so I'm sure this dining thing will become a regular affair.
Stopped at the post office on the way back from DC. No lines, no hassle - I got the package mailed in less than 5 minutes. This is definitely the way to go!
Shopping is done for the family out of state. Now I just have to get the stuff in the mail. Hmm, maybe I'll go tomorrow night, after the hockey game, when there's no one at the post office.
