Snow!

It's snowing! Big fat, fluffy flakes and it's accumulating. *does happy snow dance* I love snow! Yes, I know one of you who lives in the Upper Peninsula is rolling her eyes at that last statement as well as my happy snow dance but it's true. This is our first snowstorm (probably the only one we'll get too if I believe the snow forecast) and it's an Alberta Clipper so we're only supposed to get about 3" but it was enough to snarl traffic and give me an excuse to work from home--and possibly sneak away to Starbucks.

Did I mention I love snow?

And you know what makes this snow really great? All this tea my friend sent me! I'm really loving the loose tea and my little French press. It's inspiring me to go to this tea shop over at the mall and get more once this is all gone.

Oh, I'm so glad you like it. The loose tea is my favorite. I'm such a square though, the breakfast tea is just about all I'll have unless I'm sick.

Hmmm, okay, I'll be nice. Happy snow day, to you. I know you love it. I went snowshoeing today, with the dogs. We got over 20 inches this past weekend and it was beautiful in the woods today with all the trees flocked. It was tough snowshoeing, though, because the snow was pretty deep. The dogs are so tired we haven't seen them all night. Right now, it's 5 below zero. I can do without that.

Enjoy your snow. Hope it lasts for a few days. When you want more, let me know, I'll send you some.

Ok, I like snow and all but I don't know if I'd like it as much if it was snowy and 5 below. Our snow is more around 32 degrees. I'm sure you'd be out snowshoeing in shorts. And playing golf.

First time posting a reply in your LJ, but it is about snow!!! I love the white stuff, and boy do I miss it. Living in Florida and being from Wisconsin sucks when it comes to weather, since I hate hurricanes and that seems to be all we get here. Hope you enjoy the white stuff!

I've been to Amelia Island, Miami, and the Keys and although they were nice to visit, I have to live in a place with seasons. And snow. I love the stuff.

The snow we have now is still hanging around but it's getting kind of icky looking. I think it needs to melt then snow again.

How about when it snows we virtual happy snow dance together? The best part of snow is watching it, you know, snow. And I love how quiet it is while it's snowing. That's my favorite part.

yes me too. my son and I like to go walking through the woods looking for steaming deer crap. It's a seasonal activity that brings happiness and joy well and poop.

It's extremely rare. Temps never really drop below freezing and if they do, the conditions usually aren't right for snow.

We broke the one hundred year record in 2004 and saw a snowfall of about 3 inches or so. It was so pretty. Started snowing around midnight Christmas eve and everyone was literally freakin' out, to say the least.
