We love it and all the friends and family love it too. I think I'd be uninvited if I didn't bring it.
The old family gatherings are nice but there's something to be said for the quiet just you and the hubby and the dogs gathering as well. To be honest, one of my most favorite Thanksgivings was the year my dad and stepmother went to my stepmother's sister's in PA and I didn't go. I had my own Thanksgiving, watched football and painted the dining room. I loved it. That's probably what started my Friday tradition.
I want snow too. How pretty that must have been. Sorry about the Lions but yay, Cowboys!
