Because crusherbevdr tagged me and I like being tagged. Most of the time.

1. Grab the book closest to you.

2. Open to page 123, go down to the fifth sentence.

3. Post the text of next 3 sentences on your blog.

Note: Getting hit with a chair from behind, or from any side by a metal chair, will inflict a significant amount of pain and injury.

Use the techniques in "How to Be Ready for Anything" (p.130) to help defuse a situation and the techniques in "How to Win a Fight When You're Outnumbered" (p.133) to try to dodge either a metal chair or one coming from behind.

Getting hit with a wooden chair is going to hurt no matter what you do, but if you see it coming, and you have protected yourself properly, the hit will cause little permanent damage.

Okay, you know I don't have a blog, but I like doing these things, so I have to post it on your's instead. The only book that was near my computer was a bird book and it only had pictures on page 123, so I had to go into the living room to find the nearest book.

I don't mind being tagged at all. I only added "most of the time" because I've seen a few memes that looked like they'd be hard to answer. I liked this one.

Nah, I think I got the book as a prize for a writing contest in my other fandom. My other fandom is much more action-oriented so it fits. And the book really is pretty fun to read.

I think I got this book from Teela but I can't remember for sure. And that bit about getting hit with a metal chair totally reminded me of Harry getting nailed with that metal chair in "Leviathan".

And really, knowing how to prepare oneself for the inevitable bar fight is one of those things every girl should know. It's right up there with armpit farts.

And is the book your reading good? I read a little about it and it looks interesting.
