I can't make the subject too inviting or
meg_the_ebmod and
tos_lover will take a peek and spoil the episode for themselves.
Yay for Brass finally being in episodes for more than two minutes!
Not a bad episode, mainly because Brass got a buzz cut again. It really shows off the silver in his hair and it got rid of the longer stuff on top which sometimes makes him look like he's an escapee from A Flock of Seaguls. There are other less important reasons to like this episode for instance, it sort of reminded me of the previous seasons where all the CSI's have a role, but that's not nearly as important as Brass's hair. I have a thing for his hair. Just an FYI but S4 hair was the best.
Does anyone else think Nick's haircut makes him look like he's going really bald in front?
Remember when Brass used to go back to crime scenes with the CSI's and help look for stuff? I miss those days.
Brass must have bought a new house because he mentions the husband is the builder who built his house. If you all recall from ABRTI, Brass lived in a cute but older house in Los Angeles...er Vegas. There's no way that particular house was built by the husband. Maybe he and Sofia needed a new place to shack up in. Because you know, their lack of screen time together means that they've secretly been living together since "Way to Go" and because of that whole Captain/subordinate thing, they can't work together. Yup, that's my story.
Kid running away got a look from Jim. Kids running away seem to bother him. Can't imagine why, Ellie, things like that would bother him, Ellie.
Oh, Brass is so cool, he knows what a cougar is. Heh.

Date: 2007-02-02 03:50 am (UTC)Jim has a new haircut, maybe Grissom should get one. What they showed of Grissom, his hair looked longer and I thought his new beard looked bad.

Date: 2007-02-02 06:24 am (UTC)PG, as usual, was all over it in this ep. He's owned it with WP out, even though they've brought in a special guest star, whose pores, I don't focus on...thanks to you, I focus on the build up of oil/sweat/dirt in them. It's a good time.
I caught what he said about the house, too, so he must have moved. I like the idea of him and Sofia shacking up. Too bad he didn't say "He built our...my house".
And that look away when the teenage runaway was brought up. Man, I think that's all PG. No one else on this show has the acting chops he does.
Okay, Nick. Can I really just say that the new haircut makes him look fat IMO? And the shirts...what gives with two western style, mother of pearl buttoned cowboy shirts in this ep? And one of them had embroidery over the shoulders. Does he need to get something off his chest or what?

My theory is that whenever you lose weight, it goes to someone you know. WP and PG lost weight this season. Apparently, it went straight to GE.

With PG, it's all about nuances. He really doesn't get much help from the writers so he has to do a lot of it with facial expresssions. I love to watch him in a scene, even if he's not the one the camera is focusing on.

Date: 2007-02-04 05:22 pm (UTC)And this is usually where I lose the plot on CSI. I'm so busy watching PG and his eyebrows, hands, eyes ad infinitum, that I pay no attention to what's going on to move the plot forward. It'd be so much better if it were The Brass Show.

Date: 2007-02-04 05:53 pm (UTC)I do the same thing! I have to go back and re-watch the episodes he's in so I can see what I missed. Of course then I just get sucked into Brass again. It's a vicious (but enjoyable) cycle.
Oh, and I thought I was the only one obsessed with his eyebrows. Hee!

Date: 2007-02-05 02:21 am (UTC)Oh no, he uses those eyebrows to maximum effect. In one of those recent articles he was in, when he said some things are him and some things are acting. Yeah, I reckon the eyebrow sex is more a PG thing than a Brass thing.
