He's Back, Baby!

Brass is back! Of course I knew he would be but actually getting to see him again is the best, baby, the best!
Here's my take on Part 1 of "Built to Kill". Don't read if you don't want to know. And yeah, it's Brass-centric.
Brass is always cute but he's at his supreme cutest the first part of the season. PG usually comes back with a haircut and a tan but this time, I'd say The Man has dropped a few pounds as well. Stands to reason given what his character went though so whether it was PG's idea or TPTB, props to someone.
I'm sensing The Man has some issues. And it seemed that even Warrick picked up on it. The look on Brass's face when he was showing Warrick that plaque was so telling. Oh, and did anyone else notice that Brass wasn't using his right arm much? When he pulled the plaque out of the drawer, he looked like he was making an effort to use his left hand. He also seemed to be moving a little stiffly when he was walking with the sheriff. I really like the subtleties that PG is bringing to the character. Very cool.
Loved Warrick's line about how Brass looked like he was about to puke when they were giving him that award. He really did look uncomfortable but freakin' hot in his uniform.
Another telling scene was Brass getting the date tattoo on his bullet hole. Maybe I'm reading something into it but having the lyrics say something about change as Brass is looking right into the camera? Scary.
Can I just say that it pisses me off when people think Brass getting a tattoo is wonky or as one idiot on CSI Files said, "disturbing". Do these people live in their own naive little bubble? Of course they do. Do they have the open-mindedness of sand fleas? Why yes.
There were some other people in the episode, including John Mayer whom I love, but who cares because Brasssssssss!
