I loved The King's Speech and completely agree with you about Colin Firth. I dragged my parents to see it and after it was over my dad, who had no idea what it was about and thought it was going to be stupid, couldn't say enough great things about it.
And yes, time with my dad is wonderful. I missed out on my dad when I was growing up and while it probably wouldn't have been nearly as good as it is now, I'm grateful for all the father daughter time we have together.
