bunchofgrapesI'm just posting some ramblings about the CSI final two episodes. Don't read under the cut if you aren't spoiled because I will spoil you.
You know, if I knew for absolutely certain that Brass was going to survive this shooting and be around for ever and ever--or at least until the series ends (I'm secretly hoping for a spinoff that has Brass and Annie together as a couple of has-been cops who now work as private-detectives)--I'd be the happiest girl in the whole freakin' world. I seriously love me some Brass hurt. Hell, I think all of my fics so far and the ones in progress have some Brass hurt. Okay, so maybe one slipped through without any h/c but he was angsty and he got some Annie sex so it's all good. I mean, how cool is the thought that Brass gets shot and NEARLY DIES? And if the stupid writers don't totally fuck it up, this could even carry over to next season. Yes, I realize that's kind of like asking monkeys to type Shakespeare but a girl can still hope, right?
If ever you're bored and need some cheering up, head on over to Shipper Central at Talk CSI. Find the thread for Gil/Sofia and try not to spew liquids all over your monitor. Keyboards aren't real fond of being spewed upon either so just don't drink liquids.
Honestly, one of the posters over there has her head so far up her own ass, she can see out of her own eyes. Unbelievable how she can turn every single look, every single action into Gil/Sofia. Now, I wouldn't call myself a Grissom/Sara shipper but I do acknowledge that there's something there and I usually have a reference to them in my fics. I can also see that ever since ABRTI, there's something between Brass and Sofia. Maybe it's just a really strong friendship (gee, who wouldn't bond over killing a fellow cop) or maybe she's screaming his name as he's giving her some Big Jimmy love. Who knows. But I just do not see anything between Grissom and Sofia. Especially not what this chick is seeing. Then again, my head's not in the same position hers is.

Anyway, I also acknowledge the fact that Gil and Sara share something. I've never really thought of the Brass/Sofia 'ship--I'm more of a Brass & Catherine shipper. At this point (especially because of the events in the finale) I'd ship him with anyone, I think. Poor Brass...
