Caps Win! Caps Win!

For 50 days the Washington Capitals were dead last in the Eastern Conference. They fired their coach just before Thanksgiving (I was at his last game and the Caps were awful). Bruce Boudreau took over and turned this team around. Slowly, they fought their way out of the basement. Eight games ago, they got crushed by the Blackhawks. They haven't lost since. Tonight the Caps beat Florida to win the SE Division and finish third in the conference! Unfreakinbelievable! Now Ovechkin just needs to be named MVP and Boudreau needs to be Coach of the Year.

Sixteen games to go to get Lord Stanley's Cup. Let's Go Caps!



Yay for the results but I really don't like this pic of PG. They did something funky with his hair and they airbrushed him so much, he kind of looks plastic. Gah!

Yup, that's the one and it doesn't even look like him. I love his wrinkles and scars and lines--not that smooth look. And I swear they had him wear a hair piece or something because he does not have that much hair on top of his head.
