Yay! New CSI and new Brass

Best line ever spoken by Brass: "Never underestimate the power of the ass". This was said as he and Warrick are going into a strip club that advertises itself as "best ass".

Another great bit: Brass pointing to his badge and saying he's got a "gold card". Reminded me of the episode where the bouncer guy stops him for the cover charge and he points to his badge and says he has a coupon.

Again, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of Brass in this, especially since it was Warrick-centric. It's funny but when Brass and Warrick are standing side by side and Warrick is towering over Brass, Brass completely manages to out-tough Warrick.

The Nick/Warrick confrontation was kinda funny. Nick, bless him, does not do tough guy very well. The way he said his lines and got up in Warrick's face, it reminded me of one of those after-school specials.

There's a really interesting scene in this: Warrick calls Brass who is in his office (no jacket, white shirt, YUM!--I seriously think PG listens to his fans) and Brass is drinking scotch. He sits down at the desk and kicks back, with the scotch. And then when he's off the phone, the camera stays on him, leaning back in the chair, feet on his desk, with the scotch. I point this out because it was strange how they seemed to focus on Brass and the drink. Made me wonder if the drinking isn't some kind of foreshadowing, like Warrick and the pills. I kind of hope so because then at least we'd see some sort of fall-out from Bell's death and Brass getting shot. Then again, it could just be that he was thirsty and Friedkin likes scotch.

Oh, and I can't imagine how or why the mob wife would be recurring. But it was nice seeing Brass interact with her. When he was in his office, talking to her, he was looking particularly hot. Actually, when he was sitting at his desk, drinking, he was smokin' hot!

Can't do this without giving a shout-out to the Charger. That's got to be the most perfect car ever for Brass. It's tough, like him.

Possibly the best line in CSI, period! And perfectly Brass, without question. :D The height difference is noticeable, but it's like it bothers neither of them--Brass is not intimidated, nor Warrick condescending. It's just what is.

Gotta give Nicky points for trying, though, instead of just letting it go. And during that scene I suddenly thought of Grave Danger and how they had all cared so much about Nick--it's only right that he return it.

I wonder if Brass will have more to do with Warrick next ep.

Overall, it was a pretty good episode. Though, I kinda had a feeling 'Rick was gonna get himself into trouble.

That scene in the office! Yum, yum. Eh, anytime he's on screen the man looks delish. Loved that line too. Perfect.

damn, I missed those lines. Must have been while I was wrestling with the cat to get his nails cut.

I really want to sit back and actually watch and concentrate.

I'm pissed about what they are doing to 'Rick although we could get some really stuff out of it and hopefully more Brass.

I think Brass was the only thing good, in it. Oh ass, I thought he said 'ads'. Which makes sense to me if you advertise enough. . .

For me the scene in his office is up there with the scene from The Finger, where he's leaning against the bathroom doorway. I mean really, Brass with his shirt and tie loosened, and his feet on his desk is made of delish.

And no doubt about it being his best line ever. I had to do a double take just to make sure I'd heard it right. Poor Nick, he was definitely very aware of his situation.

The mob wife. So definitely not a hottie for Grissom and I can only assume not for Brass either, as I'm thinking she's older than him. And he wasn't exactly gentle in his interrogation of her. Bummed about that a bit, I have to say.

*Waves* Hey, it's me again. This is something I forgot to put in my post over at the JB Fansite...I agree with you about even after the interrogation, there might be something between him and the mob chic there. I go back and think of the office scene between the two and they seemed comfortable with each other. I also don't think he was that hard on her in the interrogation scene either.

*Blushes*

I missed it. HOW did I miss it? I knew it was on.. and was even going to check to see if it wasn't a repeat. I do that EVERY thursday, and then even if it is a repeat, I usually watch it. *Sighs*

I missed it! And it was the Mob Boss one! And from your descriptions, had some very interesting Brass Scenes.

*Sighs* Well.. at least now I have something to look forward to for the repeats. Thank you for the descriptions. That at least gives me some ideas. Droolworthy ones at that.. but its something. *Grins*
