Life Really Needs a Pause Button

It's Sunday and a new week is starting but I feel like I still haven't caught up from last week. Hell, I still haven't posted my CSI/Brass comments although I did list a few over on The Jim Brass Fansite. What? You haven't checked it out yet? Well, get over there and give it a look! [livejournal.com profile] meg_the_ebmod did a fabulous job!

We got tickets to the Caps game (C-A-P-S, CAPS, CAPS, CAPS!) last Wednesday. We get them through work when we can and the seats aren't too bad. I love hockey and would love to have season tickets but damn, getting to the Verizon Center is a pain in the ass. Oh, but while we were on the way there we saw the tents going up for Cirque Du Soleil's, Corteo. Yeah, I got my tickets Friday.

I've been meaning to post this for a while but the link was on my other computer. It Came from the Sears Catalog. Seriously, you will wet yourself looking at this, especially when you read the comments that the person who found this treasure has added. This is a must for those of us old enough to remember this tragic era of fashion. And hey, it's just in time for Halloween.

We get Orioles tickets through work. Not that I'm a baseball fan, but ya know, I took advantage a couple of times. Have fun at the Caps game.

I clicked on several of those links from the Sears Catalog and had a long, hard, amused filled giggle.

Oooh, footed jammies. Me wants some of those.

I'm still only getting snippets of seconds to sneak away to work/play on my laptop, know how you feel about the pause button thing. Tuesday morning, apparently is the mass exodus. Then it'll be airing the house out for a few days.
We get to Sharks games every once in a while. I enjoy them more than the other sports coz you're so much closer to the action. And I still haven't made it to PacBell/Sbc/ATT park yet. Ah well, maybe next year when the Bosox roll in.
