Hooray for the satisfaction of a finished fic! And such a wonderful ending chapter. You really gave Annie such a believeable characterization. Her pragmatism suited her by allowing the relationship to continue yet tempering the future possibilities with realitic expectations. *sigh* And Brass is truly one of the good guys :-)

My apologies, I don't know how I missed your reply.

Thanks so much for your comments about Annie. I love Donna Murphy so that helps when it comes to writing the character. And although we didn't see much of Annie, what we did see spoke volumes to me, making it easy to let her get into my head.

And yeah, Brass really is a good guy. Unfortunately, good things don't always happen to him.
