Randomy Stuff

crusherbevdr I’m looking at you! I so need to read your Brass/Sofia fic and I will, I promise.
Randomy Brass thoughts over last night’s episode.
So CSI’s are now police officers? Seeing Nick and Warrick bust through the door with the cop standing behind them? I want to smack the writers senseless.
So you’d think Warrick might have called Jim back and tell him that they found the place. You know, so Brass wouldn’t be wandering all over the area looking for it and call off the search but no. That would have taken to much effort.
Another thing that bugged me? Why did Sofia go to Grissom? The guy already looks like she’s the last person he wants to see in his office. It would have made a lot more sense if Sofia would have gone to Brass instead but you know, Brass had already put in his token 5 minutes. He’s not allowed to have more than that. As it was, the scene with Sofia in Grissom’s office looked forced and awkward.
Why does Jim’s desk change every time we see it? It’s not usually cluttered (he’s a very neat guy) but I thought he was in a completely different office when he sat down behind the desk in the scene with the doctor and her brother. The top looked like it was covered in glass and unless I missed it, it was devoid of stuff.
Brass whispering in the lobby of the apartment building was hilarious. Every person in the tri-state area could have heard his voice echo. But it was cool seeing him be all Secret Service with the ear piece. Also, when the female cop died, I expected to see Brass in her apartment. See comment about 5 minute episode limit.
So we’re attempting this Vegas trip again. This time we’re planning for the end of April. Seeing as how the last two seasons they’ve had a very special Brass episode around that time, and seeing as how I’m always away at that time, I’m hoping my trip will cause history to repeat and we’ll get another Very Special Brass episode.
Oh and just in case, here’s a link to the aforementioned smut fic. It’s Brass/Catherine and it was inspired by Brass's offer to take Catherine to Cancun back in "Bite Me".
