Sadly, no, I didn't. Elisabeth was pretty ticked off at me when I didn't come back the next year so we eventually drifted apart. I would love to go back to Brilon though. Back in the mid 80's it was such an authentic German town--no American influence like you see in some of the southern German towns. I've heard it's grown quite a lot though. Big spa area now.
