Eat your twinkie because my techie friend figured it out. Apparently, one of the sites (there are many) on the way to the Forum is blocking my ISP (Comcast). If I go through an anonymizer website, I can get there. So for now I have a work around but why they suddenly started blocking it is anybody's guess.
