We took a family vacation to Florida this past March. Rented a house on the water and spent quality time together for a week. I think that was the first time we were all in one place at one time. And we actually got along so well, we decided to make it a yearly thing.

I seem to recall that you've never flown? If that's the case, then I hope some day you do get to Hawaii (and Rome because it's amazing too). It's a long plane ride from out here--about 13 hours total--but it's so worth it. Beautiful really is an understatement and the weather, even if it's raining, is perfect.
