I read this over the weekend, sorry I haven't commented yet, but it took me over an hour just to read the story, such is life right now.
Oh, wow, I can't believe how unrelenting you were to poor Brass. You do like him, right? The angst was just brutal. Beautiful, but gutwrenching nonetheless. Just a little kiss was all I was hoping for ;). But the night long 'wrapped up in his arms' business hit the comfort spot. You get his character and voice down so well, I love reading you because there aren't any jangling out of character stuff that can bring a reader up short.

And the Willie Loman bit at the end? Arghhhhhhh. Poor Jim.
